Golf Saskatchewan wrapped up the 2023 Amateur Championships Friday at the North Battleford Golf and Country Club.
On Thursday, Calgary’s Emily Cornwall claimed the Amateur Women’s title by a shot over Hallie Crozier of Regina.
She spoke with Golf Saskatchewan after the final round Thursday.
The Mid-Amateur champion is Tim Acaster of North Battleford. He used his local knowledge to outlast Jehremy Ryde in a playoff to claim the qin in his hometown.
Acaster talked about the week on Thursday.
The Men’s Amateur Championship concluded Friday with 23 players making the cut and competing in the 112th edition of the tournament.
Two-time Saskatchewan junior champion Josh Nagy was the champion shooting 9-under par over 72 holes.
The Riverside Country Club member spoke about the win after the round.
Golf Saskatchewan will announce the national attendees later this week.
