Regina golfer takes part in World Amateur Long Drive Competition

Zach Sharp (middle) was joined by a couple supporters in South Carolina at the World Amateur Long Drive Competition in late September.

Growing up in Carlyle playing several different sports, and excelling in baseball Zach Sharp has used “swinging fast and hard” to land him a spot on Team Canada for the recent World Amateur Long Drive Competition in South Carolina in late September.

Originally published in the Carlyle Observer, Sharp has returned from the trip and recounts the experience, his start in the sport, and where he hopes it can go in Saskatchewan and beyond.
